This self-guided tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the hidden world of talented artists. From painters to sculptors, photographers to woodworkers, and everything in between, you’ll have the chance to see their creative spaces and meet the artists themselves. With over 40 artists participating this year, there’s something to captivate every art lover.

The tour takes place on November 18th and 19th, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days. The 705 zip code area will be brimming with creativity, as artists open their studios and homes to share their work with you. It’s a perfect chance to uncover the hidden gems within your own community.
Meet and Greet Kick-Off Party:
Connect with Artists and Fellow Art Enthusiasts. Kick off the festivities at our Meet and Greet event on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sans Souci Gallery, located at 551 Jefferson St., Lafayette, LA. This is more than just a party; it’s an opportunity to engage with the artists. It’s where you can start your art-filled weekend by connecting with the people who create it.

Information for Participating Artists
Open Studios Tours 2023 – Engage Your Community:
If you’re opening your studio to the public, we encourage you to make it engaging and interactive for our community. Consider hosting mini workshops, art displays, and perhaps even offer food such as wine and cheese. It’s your chance to let your creativity shine and connect with your audience. If you are hosting multiple artists at your studio/location be sure to keep them informed as they may not be included in this email.
Yard Signs for Open Homes: Artists participating in opening their homes to the public will receive printed yard signs that read “OPEN STUDIO HERE.” These will soon be available for pick-up (stay tuned for updates) at the Sans Souci Gallery, which operates during the following hours:

• Open Studio Tours will take place on November 18th and 19th, 2023. It’s a weekend-long celebration of art, creativity, and community.
• Tour Hours: The tour will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days. If you have specified your studio will be open only one of the two days, this will be noted in the brochure and online details.
• Locations: This is a self-guided tour that will lead visitors to various artist studios and homes across the 705 zip code area. Map brochures will be made so participants can take the tour at their own pace. These will soon be available for pick up at the San Souci Gallery.
